About Cherry Tire Shop

Cherry Tire Shop the best service in town

Cherry Tire Shop is a tire shop in Waterbury, Connecticut. It is listed at 260 Cherry St, Waterbury, CT 06702, which places it among the local businesses of Waterbury that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–6 pm. It is closed on Saturday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (203) 805-4494. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

⭐ 1/5 — Very Disappointed Terrible experience at Cherry Tire Shop. The worker broke my wheel cap because he was careless while working on my vehicle. I explained to him that I had paid $90 for the wheel, and he acted like he couldn’t care less about damaging someone else’s property. All I got was “sorry,” but sorry doesn’t fix or replace something you broke. When customers trust you with their vehicle, they expect you to treat their property with care and take responsibility when you damage something. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Be careful bringing your vehicle here if you care about your wheels and belongings being treated properly.

Cherry Tire Service on Cherry Street in Waterbury, CT really came through for me when I was in a complete jam with my car. I needed help immediately and didn’t have time to wait around or deal with being stuck, and they handled everything fast and professionally. From the moment I got there, they moved with urgency and got right to work checking out my situation. They didn’t make me feel brushed off or like I had to wait forever—they understood I needed quick help and actually delivered on that. The service felt efficient, straightforward, and honest. What stood out most was how quickly they were able to get me back on the road. In a stressful situation like car trouble, that kind of fast response makes all the difference. They didn’t overcomplicate anything, just got straight to solving the issue. Overall, I really appreciate them stepping in and helping me when I needed it most. If you’re ever in a bind and need tire or car service in Waterbury, this is definitely a place that shows up and gets things done.

I call first to see if they have the tire and instead of telling me they don’t they wasted my time driving there to tell me they don’t have it and I never called about the tire in the first place
